Because the members of the OCBFC come from such diverse areas, chances are you might have a talent just waiting to be discovered and shared. At the OCBFC we have three main committees and many adhoc committees that are developed as the needs arise.

The Three Main Committees Are:

Education - This committee is responsible for the planning and implementation of our on-going educational programs. If you have talents in organization, curriculum/training development, event planning, photography, have great networking skills, and generally awesome people skills, this committee would welcome your participation. Speakers Bureau - Do you like to get up in front of groups. Do you possess the passion to talk about breastfeeding in public without feeling "funny" about it? Do you know what an elevator speech is? If you don't know what it is, are you interested in learning? Can you call local philantrophy and other service (Kiwana's, Lion's, Soroptomist, etc)groups and get speaking gigs? Can you donate your time to making this presentations at least 3 times a year? Then by all means email us! Milk Depot - This is the core group that acts as the main arm that promotes and support the use of donor milk in the local NICU's. If you want to get involved in this very worthwhile project, let us know. Learn more about the Milk Depot committee on the milk depot project page.
