Vision

"To Make Breastfeeding the Cultural Norm"

Mission

The Orange County Breastfeeding Coalition supports and promotes breastfeeding for all infants and young children through:

  • Education for parents and potential parents, health care professionals, and policy makers
  • Advocacy for breastfeeding friendly policies and practices in hospitals medical offices, and businesses
  • Support to breastfeeding to women, children and their families
  • Collaboration with public and private partners

    Goals

As the Orange County Breastfeeding Coalition, we will create an environment where:

  • Women can breastfeed without barriers
  • Anyone can obtain unbiased and supportive information about breastfeeding
  • All interested in promoting breastfeeding are welcomed and supported
  • Breastfeeding research is studied and shared with the community-at-large
  • Any parent interested in obtaining pasteurized donor milk for an infant is able to acquire it.

January 17th - noon to 1:30
March 20th - noon to 1:30
May 15th - noon to 1:30
July 17th - noon to 1:30
September 18th - noon to 1:30
November 20th - noon to 1:30

General meetings are held in the Mother Baby Assessment Center at St. Joseph's Hospital in Orange

Board meetings are on the alternating months are are held from the same time but at the Maternal Outcomes Management Program Business Office at:
